Hello Everyone, This is Charley from Laramie Peak Motors in Wheatland, Wyoming. As many of you may be aware, I am our Sales Manager here and a member of the Ruwart Family that owns the dealership.

First, I want to express to each and every one of our customers, from those that buy parts and service, to the people that buy multiple vehicles a year, just how grateful we are for your business with us over the last 26 years we've been in operation. We wouldn't be where we are today without your continued support.

In light of the current world events, COVID-19, and current economic conditions, we wanted to convey our plan with you on how we are going to step up to the plate in combat of the virus, and continue to serve the community and our customers in a new and deeper way.

In my opinion, we are lucky to live in our rural community at this time. It's like our own little quarantine zone. We are lucky the many local businesses in our community are not mandated to close their doors and are able to push through this to continue operation for their families, when there are mandated closings just across the border and so much uncertainty in front of so many families worldwide. Our condolences go out to any families that have experienced loss from this pandemic.

This is our game plan during this time to continue to support our community:

  • We will be open, as normal, in all departments.
  • We are stocked up on cleaning supplies, sanitation wipes, and hand sanitizer available in every department. Surfaces and door handles will be sanitized consistently throughout the day as business permits, and we will continue to have our nightly cleaning crew sanitize surfaces and clean bathrooms at the end of each day.
  • Our service department will remain open for all work as normal. We pride ourselves on our customer service, and that includes both local pickup and delivery of your vehicle to and from appointments if you wish. So please just request so!
  • We will be able to deliver parts as necessary as well at your request!
  • We have always offered rental and loaner vehicles if the repair in our shop takes time, and We will continue to offer rentals or loaners during this time depending on availability.

Now, I want to step away from the virus and talk about something that I'm very passionate about that has propelled our growth as a dealership recently, and this will be something that is not necessarily a change, but a sharing of our process to align with our customer focused safety initiative, both for our employees and for our customers.
